BRIEF: Promote the release of the Canon Power Shot D20 Tough camera in the Victorian and NSW alpine regions. Showcase the unique capabilities in the extreme conditions of the show whilst promoting the brands 'cool factor' in line with the Canons current marketing for the D20 release.
The Canon D20 is a tough camera, built for the outdoor enthusiast and up to the toughest of challenges.
Water proof, shock proof, fog proof and generally unbreakable, Canon elected Ghost Host to do a series of branded activations in alpine locations to highlight the release of the D20 to the adventure seekers.
Ghost Host in conjunction with Back to the Top snow tours executed campaigns at Mount Buller, Falls Creek and Mount Hotham in 2012.
Ghost Host created a giant picture frame that skiers and boarders alike could use as a 3D type of photo booth situation to take portraits and motion pictures which could later be downloaded and shared off the Canon website.
We engaged over 1000 people per mountain to trial and interact with the Canon D20. Fun was had by all!
