As the sun sets, the decadently adorned descended into the depths of the earth for an explorative journey through the cellars of the Mitchelton Winery.
Feasting from opulent banquet tables, lavishing decadent wine pairings whilst finding fun and folly from the carefully curated entertainment.

Mitchelton Winery's signature event "Hallowine" returns for the third time with the darky and sticky theme of Decadence & Decay.
Ghost Host will present this unique event on Saturday 21st October 2017.
"Decandence & Decay" will seize the landscape in which revelers are to be taken on a dark & opulent journey of the cellars, slowly changing form as the night moves on.
Guests will be led through the enchanting and historic subterranean halls of the winery, each differently themed - offering an array of unusual interactive entertainment & visceral exploration.
Guest’s goblet will continuously be filled with the stunning wines from Mitchelton.
Mitchelton Wines Managing Director Andrew Ryan expresses his enthusiasm for the event “we hadn't had an event in the cellars for many years and certainly hadn’t seen the cellars themed so decadently.
It was great to see the sense of wonder that attendees were experiencing as they meandered through Australia’s largest operational wine cellars, looking and enjoying all the separate party areas with one of our wines in hand.
"It really has the potential to be one of the best annual parties in Victoria!”.
In addition, Mitchelton chefs will create exclusive food offerings themed for the event with local fair.
By creating various, massive feasting tables along side various taste-discovery stations representing the theme for the evening, each guest will be invited to explore the depths of their taste buds in signature with Decadence being a major theme throughout.
Another part of the evening that creates the magic is the guests themselves.
The lavish and fun costumes, excites the imagination and ignites a sense of something really special! Decadent Black Tie attire required.
New this year is the launching of the onsite, luxury, guest accommodation – The Mitchelton Hotel. Guests can now book a room and stay on site ensuring they never have to leave the party.
It is a special and unique offering to awaken surrounded by vines and natural beauty of Mitchelton Winery. Bookings for this can be made in September a month prior to the event.
The creators of the event Sas Landy and Sarah DeBoer’s mission for the occasion was to create a Halloween party that was elegant and decadent, with a touch of the mysterious.
